Wonderful first visit
I was impressed because the office was busy but very organized and I was seen right on time. Dr. Stolar met me while I was fully dressed to introduce himself. After I put on a gown, he came back into the office and did the yearly skin check very thoroughly, answered my questions and was very efficient.

First time patient to Dr. Stolar. He identified my skin condition on my trunk right away as Grover’s Disease and prescribed medication. Very professional, as are his PA, techs, and the entire MetroDermDC front desk staff.

Friendly, staff, efficiant sign-in process. I was seen on time and examined very carefully by Dr. Stolar, whom I've been going to for 20 years. He answered several questions I had, took care of what he found, and sent me on my way. Highly recommended

Attentive, caring and considerate.
Dr. Stolar is the fifth dermatologist in as many years that I have visited due to a scalp condition and general questions on skin discoloration and moles as I age. Dr. Stolar has given me the best practical advice on managing and understanding my particular issues. He listens well, is attentive, caring in his approach, and very considerate of my time and vulnerability in these situations. I would highly recommend Dr. Stolar for Dermatology.

Excellent care
I have been seeing Dr. Stolar for over 10 years. He has always been punctual and very thorough in his examinations. On two occasions he decided to take biopsies, and both of those showed positive for Melanoma. Fortunately, both were diagnosed early and surgery to remove them solved the issue without need for any further treatment. I highly recommend him.

Annual full body skin check
This was my first visit with Dr. Stolar, who had come recommended by two friends, one of whom has been treated twice by him for melanoma. I was impressed with Dr. Stolar and his staff. They were friendly, efficient, and thorough. I had changed dermatologists because of an inability to be seen by my previous dermatologist when I had a problem, e.g., poison ivy or bad rash. At the conclusion of my exam, Dr. Stolar assured me that if something cropped up and his staff was not responsive to me, which he hoped would never happen, I should ask to speak with him directly. I would definitely recommend them.

Friendly, efficient, professional
I visited Dr Stolar for a skin ailment that was minor but required opening the skin and draining some fluid. I arrived 15 minutes early for the appointment and was seen early, within 5 minutes. Dr Stolar was able to treat me at that first visit, and gave clear instructions on wound care and scheduling a follow-up visit. The treatment was successful and my follow-up visit took only a few minutes. I very much appreciated the fast and efficient treatment.

An outstanding dermatologist
Whenever Dr. Stolar walks into the exam room, he greets me with a warm, comforting smile. He has never kept me waiting and is a kind, compassionate dermatologist. He conducts his examinations in an unhurried manner - listening to, and answering, all my questions. This is why I have been a patient of Dr. Stolar’s for the past decade. He is very smart, honest, and always puts my mind at ease. He never misses the mark with his diagnoses and consistently provides the best remedy.
