As a patient of Dr. Scanlon for over ten plus years, I am surprised by some of the negative reviews. Dr. Scanlon is patient, kind, through, and listens to what you say. The only reason why there is sometimes a long wait is because he is so thorough. If you want a doctor who cares and listens, Dr. Scanlon is a great choice. If you want someone who pushes you through an assembly line and gets you out in five minutes, he is not the right choice. I choose to go to Dr. Scanlon and am willing to wait because I know the people ahead of me must have needed the extra help. He is a top doctor both in the office and in the hospital.

Dr. Scanlon took care of my mother while hospitalized twice and is now seeing her on an outpatient basis. He is an excellent doctor and dedicated to his patients. He is patient, thorough, has a great bed side manner and answers any and all questions you may have. I wish we had more doctors like him.

My wife who was very sick was left in a room until she almost ran out of oxygen. She had a 4:00 appointment and we were respectful enough to show up early. At 5:30 she was told he was with another patient and another ahead of her. We left. I was raised that being on time is a sign of respect. She certainly did not receive any respect for her illness or time.
