I'm excited about returning to practice medicine in the Wabash Valley region of East Central Illinois and West Central Indiana, which like many areas of the country is underserved by Endocrinology health professionals, especially with regard to pediatric patients. I'm passionate about providing support of a broad range of Endocrine issues including diabetes, thyroid, hypogonadism and osteoporosis as well as less common issues involving the hypothalamic-pituitary axis by working closely with other physicians in the community to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. With over 20 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility within Engineering and Manufacturing organizations prior to pursuing a career in Medicine, I have developed a focus on applying a disciplined, logical problem-solving process as the foundation of patient care for a diverse range of Endocrine management issues in support of patients age 5 and older as well as a deep appreciation of the benefits of evaluating my activities on a daily basis to confirm their value with regard to contributing to the effective management of your health. I refuse to operate a "revolving door" practice with the goal of maximizing practice revenue at the expense of minimizing appropriate patient care, which may look great on an Excel spreadsheet but contributes little to achieving meaningful outcomes for complex health issues faced by patients. I am committed to applying accepted evidence-based medicine practices in accordance with clinical practice guidelines developed by governing organizations such as the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the American Thyroid Association, the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society and the National Osteoporosis Foundation. Let me know how my staff and I can help you to achieve your health care goals.
