Dr. Rhomberg's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Rhomberg "Dr. Rhomberg received his medical training from the Medical College of Virginia after completing both a bachelors and masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. While working on a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, he decided to go into medicine. After completing medical school, he served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy as a flight surgeon and completed his residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. He was the first orthopedic surgeon in Arkansas to be certified in MAKOplasty. MAKOplasty Partial Knee Resurfacing is an alternative to knee replacement with less pain and faster recovery times for patients. In his spare time Dr. Rhomberg enjoys the great outdoors while hiking, camping, backpacking, bicycling, traveling and gardening. He also has read extensively on topics such as world history, electrical engineering, car mechanics, and foreign countries. Frequently you will find him tutoring his three daughters, who are in college and medical school, on subjects such as physics, engineering, calculus, and chemistry. He has already begun teaching his thirteen year old son the basics of engineering and a love for the outdoors. Dr. Rhomberg and his wife opened the Western Arkansas Orthopedic Clinic in Van Buren, Arkansas in 2014 and are both highly dedicated to their patients' care and needs."
