in Cheyenne, WY |
Dr Murphy has performed surgery on my lower back and has helped me manage my back pain and muscle spasms throughout the years with kindness, compassion, understanding, unsurpassed knowledge and professionalism. I recommend him to all my family and friends for neurological surgery evaluation and care needs.
in Houston, TX. |
Had C 3,4,5,6, laminectomy. On recovery he stated false information in closing 10 years off when I quit smoking. Office visit I explained I had pain, weakness, and numbness at and below elbow. Pain in shoulder. Dr. Murphy stated " that's not my problem". Office visit again, I told PA I HAD SERIOUS ISSUES AT MY SHOULDERS DOWN TO FINGERS. I explained to PA that DR. Murphy had already told me it's not his problem. So when Dr. Murphy came into exam room I was already aware I was not to tell him
in Dallas, TX |
Dr. Murphy has been treating my condition since 1980! In fact, I moved away from Houston about 25 years ago (to Dallas/Fort Worth) and I refuse to find another doctor! I would highly recommend Dr. Murphy to ANYONE!!! He has excellent bedside manner, and is very thorough in and with his exams. He makes no decisions or diagnosis with first repeatedly reviewing all criteria available to him! Don't let the wait time discourage you! You will see that he is WELL WORTH any wait that you may incur!

Dr. Murphy is a well known and respected neurosurgeon who excels at what he does! He is very thorough, very detailed, a wonderful listener, and he possesses wonderful bedside manner! Be prepared to wait when you go for your appointment, but speaking for myself, I would much rather wait and receive great care/treatment by someone like him than go to someone else less reliable that does not care about their patients like Dr. Murphy does! I highly recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone!!!
Houston, TX |
Dr. Murphy does not communicate well at all with his patients and you feel rushed during the appointment. I would not recommend Dr. Murphy
