Care Philosophy

I am a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, but I try to find ways to help your body heal itself without the need for invasive procedures, or sometimes dangerous medications. I look at the whole person to understand what is bothering you and how we can work together to establish a healthy lifestyle. We use such cutting edge techniques as laser, hyluronic injections, platelet rich plasma, bracing, physical therapy, and even stem cell injections to get you back to the activities you enjoy. However, if you have such severe arthritis that will not respond to conservative treatment, I use minimally invasive and advanced alignment techniques such as an MRI or CT based guidance system to replace a joint in the quickest and safest manner possible. I have over 20 years experience treating some of the toughest and most complicated arthritic joints. I have confidence that I can help you reach your goals of pain free motion and return to the lifestyle you deserve.Read more

It hard to believe he took an oath. Arrogant, rude, began screaming at me in the room because I wasn't complete heal red after OT decisions. He seems to be quite bi-polar. Never gave contact. I later found I had stage 4 cancer, both hips. Thanks . Some doctors even know how this guy acts. Doctor s need to report these sick people. He is killing me
in South Lyon |
Dr. Loniewski replaced each of my hips. I was out of the hospital in 3 days each time, and was self-sufficient within another couple of days at home. I now move normally, as I did before my hips started giving me trouble. I highly recommend Dr. Loniewski.
in Brighton, MI |
My routine knee replacement took a side trip! Another surgery to repair a ruptured ligament, after witch I was required to wear a full leg cast for eight weeks. When the cast was removed I wore a knee brace for eight weeks. I now am able to walk with a cane and my knee feels very natural and good.I always felt confident with Dr. Loniewski! My age and very bad arthritic knee condition were a factor. He is a great surgeon and wonderful to be with.I am very grateful to be able to walk on my own!

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
