Edward H. Illions, MD, joined University of Colorado Advanced Reproductive Medicine in February 2017. He is board certified in reproductive endocrinology and in obstetrics and gynecology. He completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Previously he was associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and director of the fertility preservation program at the Montefiore Institute of Reproductive Medicine in New York. In conjunction with a national network of universities offering fertility preservation services, Dr. Illions developed an Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol for ovarian tissue cryopreservation at the Montefiore campus.
