I’ve been a patient here for years. Actually saw dr Condon once. The wait is at least an hour every time. If you’re 10 minutes late they won’t take you. You have to make an appointment to get your blood results back so you can go in waste your time and your co-pay for them to say OK everything was normal During covid I had a virtual appointment The NP called and hour late and it wasn’t virtual. It was a phone call. They charged my insurance company for an “in person” visit and tried to charge me a copay. Worst office ever. Don’t waste your time. The staff can use a courtesy class as well.

I've been a patient of Dr. Condon's for at least 15 years. Wait times are long, office staff can be inefficient, mistakes made in medical records, wrong diagnosis. All of a sudden everyone has Hashimotos Disease. Office is run in a clinic-like fashion, too many people scheduled at once, waiting with inappropriate social distancing, sometimes standing-room only. You will never see Dr. Condon, but I believe you can request to see him. As such, I haven't seen him in many years, only PA's. Contacting office by phone is like playing a game of cat and mouse. Last time I tried returning his staff member's msg, I was placed on hold. I hung up after 17 mins realizing it was 12:02 and they went on lunch and just left me waiting indefinitely. Meanwhile, their remote calls and texts to remind you of your upcoming appointments are excessive and bordering on harassment!! I finally smartened up and found an amazing Endocrinologist! You also deserve better. Go elsewhere!!

The office staff and manger are so rude. They say they send letters, call you back and never do so and try to blame the patient. I have never seen the doctor because they only give you appts with a nurse practitioner. This is a doctor mill and only want to make money and don’t care about the patient. Find someone else

The staff was horrible when I called back to tell them the medicine is making me sick. The office manager denied returning my voicemails. Blamed his staff. Then doctor said it was my stomach, it was not. They would not take my appt when other offices called me from 1 hr away from where I lived, then when i was sent gonna break up with you letter, again the office manager ignored me me for days and when I called back said I was harassing him for an appt. The insanity of this office is disgusting, unprofessional unpleasant and inappropriate.

Dr. Condon didn't physically examine me or order any scans. He just looked at me for 5 minutes and said PCOS or hashimotos. I didn't have either, though my lab stats were concerning. I continued to feel horrible and had a difficult time functioning normally. And though I expressed this many times to the NP, Tanima, she just kept telling me to wait to see Condon again. This went on for a little over a year and I never saw Condon again. ?! I felt so bad that I had not realized how much time had passed, so that's on me...but I should've received better care from the start. I finally found another endo and learned that I had a substernal goiter, growing vertically below my breastbone. It was very large, as my thyroid surgeon put it, the size of a newborn baby. If you are not receiving the proper treatment, then don't delay. Find another endo as thyroid issues should NOT be taken lightly.

I’ve been a patient of the practice for 5 years. I have to say, the current staff is wonderful, there has been some not so great front desk girls. Dr Condon is extremely intelligent and the NPs are all very thorough. My diagnosis was explained and they continue to try new treatment options to continue to help me every visit. Any time I have an issue, I get a response in a timely matter as I understand how busy the office is all the time. There has been a couple times when appointments had to be changed due to one NP on maternity and another had a family emergency/sick but things happen. Overall I would definitely recommend Dr Condon and the NPs to anyone.

I was truly amazed by Dr. Condon, Virginia and Janine in how they listened to my concerns and challenges I was having with my condition. They were willing to try different options and provide me with solutions that have actually helped improve my condition which hasn’t happened in over 10 years. I appreciate the care and attention to detail in their approach. The office staff - Kelly B., Gia, Maria and Megan are very friendly and helpful when I needed to reschedule my appointment or had questions about prescriptions! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an endocrinologist!!

I had a thyroid problem they put me on metformin. Then they push me to visit office unnecessarily often to watch my weight by their nurse. When I tell them " I didnt know I have blood sugar problem, so I didnt diet, I want to try diet and exercise first instead of starting metformin. And I cannot come to your office every month I dont have time for this". I git a letter that says this doctor will not accept me anymore but I have to be seeing by others. Isn't it funny he broke up with patient.

I was recommended here by a couple friends who come here. I found my PA to be extremely knowledgeable and very nice. She is getting me back on TRT. The front desk staff was also extremely nice. I wish I could say the about the patients that were waiting to be seen! Every time one of the nurses asked “how are you today?” They just ignores them. Now that’s rude! I highly recommend this doctor to ANYONE looking for a high quality Endocrinologist, especially if you are like me, in your mid 30s with low testosterone.

In the year and a half that I have taken my mother to this office, she was NEVER seen by Dr. Condon, it's a shame, the PA's are doing the work and he's getting paid the big bucks! Of course the time comes when you realize, hey, I can seek professional care elsewhere... and so we did. For your own safety and care, "Do not go to this office".

Patients are chattel, over-billed, seen someone different every time (4), didn't raise thyroid medicine at TSH 6, but quick to put me on Metformin at A1C at 5.7. Serious reaction to Metformin, staff would not see me (would only draw blood), never got a call back to my medicine concern. Office manager (doctor's wife) rudely told me to reschedule because of an $80 balance (just gave them close to $1500 towards deductible) and refused to service me. HORRIBLE. Save your money and sanity.

Dr. Edward Condon's office .. professional and personable. What a difference. Unfortunately, no one likes going to the Doctor's; but in the real world, it's a necessity. With that being said, you, the patient, looks for efficiency, accommodation, to feel worthy, (not as though you're just another number), Dr. Condon's Office provides that. Especially, with everyone's busy schedules. The staff, Office Mgr, PA's, and the Doctor himself, understand and work with you. Always, greeted w/a smile

I was asked to provide a food diary, which included every single thing I ate. He told me that I must be lying & that I'm a closet eater. Then said he was placing me on a insulin pen to lose weight even though I'm not diabetic & was only about 25 lbs overweight. He's a total danger to his patients & has placed so many on insulin that are not diabetic!

I recently was treated at Dr. Condon's practice for a mysterious condition that I have dealt with for many years and which other doctors failed to identify. Upon explaining my symptoms, and undergoing a test, the cause was found and I am being treated and feeling much better. The staff and services provided are of the highest caliber. I was scheduled quickly and met with extremely knowledgeable and able staff members. The front desk was warm and professional. I highly recommend Dr Condon.

I was 17 and a type I diabetic since age 5 when I started seeing Dr. Condon in 1977. Over the last 40 years, with Dr. Condon's brilliant insights and guidance, I have arrived at age 57 with NOT A SINGLE complication. He is an educator, listens and explains things many doctors don't even know about. His new office staff at Commack is the best I have ever experienced and I've been to my share! Highly, highly, highly recommended. If you want the best, look no further.
