I fell during vacation in Spain and fractured my shoulder. Back in USA, Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez did surgery and my shoulder is as it used to be before my fall. He is a great surgeon and also a great human being, I love him as a doctor, so gentle, so human. Will never go with a different surgeon! ?

After a less than satisfactory and impersonal consultation from another orthopedist, I saw Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez at the recommendation of a colleague. Years of weightlifting and other sports left me with primary osteoarthritis and chronic shoulder pain. I decided, upon his very informed recommendation, to undergo a reverse total shoulder arthoplasty and am incredibly happy to have done so. The doctor is deeply knowledgeable, but just as importantly, equally caring, with great bedside manner. These same qualities can equally be said of his assistant Albert, the surgical coordinator Lisa, and the entire office staff. I will be starting my in-house PT soon, and sincerely feel very fortunate to be in such capable hands!

Dr. Gonzalez is not only an excellent, skilled physician and surgeon, he is also a very caring human being. Dr. Gonzalez’ staff is very professional and polite, his PA Albert is always nice and knowledgeable. My family and friends trust Dr. Gonzalez expertise and should I ever have an upper extremity injury I’d go to no one else.

Where do I begin.... My 96 yr old grandmother required surgery on her shoulder after a bad fall. After being told by the hospital there was nothing that could be done for her we went for a second opinion and met with Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez. From the moment he entered the room and greeted us I felt so comforted. He took his time to ease all our concerns. The amount of care & concern the doctor took with my elderly grandmother went beyond any medical professional I ever dealt with.

I would leave more than 5 stars if I could, he's super. I will be eternally grateful for his surgical expertise on my broken left wrist and my broken right arm. Beautiful surgery. I can't believe the minimal scars. It has been three months and it appears I'll regain full use of both arms. His caring attitude couldn't be appreciated more.

Worst experience at a doctors office ever. The staff that work at this office are extremely rude and have horrendous patients relations skills. The office staff never advices my neurologist never sent my mri. When asked if they could contact the doctor they said I had to call. After they lied and said they had contacted my doctor and they were closed. I called my neurologist and in fact they were open. They were to busy gossiping and having Starbucks. I left told them I would go somewhere else.

I don't understand the one-star reviews on this page. Dr. Gonzalez Hernandez is an EXCELLENT doctor and his staff are AMAZING. From my first visit to my last, through surgery and rehab, the experience was top notch. Is there a wait? yes. Is it ideal? No. But the experience and his expertise were worth it, especially when we're talking about surgery. Plan to spend 45 mins to an hour in the perfectly adequate waiting room, about 20-30 mins with the PA/nurse, and then 20-30 mins with the doctor.

Juan JCampos

It was a recommendation but very disappointed. Waited more 2 hours and I never saw the doctor. It is meet market where the clinic accepts the appointments and overbook the daily activities and we pay with lack of services. The rules of game are very simple such as we pay to see doctor and it takes about 3 hour or more to get to the doctor so they keep all animals waiting outside after you made the appointment 2-3 weeks before. I called blueshield bluecross of Tenesse to taken action.

Good doc, no doubt. Standing room only in antiquated wait room. Sign "do not tap on window" lessens communication. And yes the 90 minute wait in a packed room, not good.

It is very rare to find a doctor who is not only a great doctor but a caring one as well. He takes his time with his patients and explains everything in detail. When he speaks to you, you can tell that he is completely passionate about what he does. He performed hand surgery on my son I could not be more pleased to have chosen him as a doctor!

My grandmother is 89 Years old. She has arthritis, heart disease, a pace maker, etc etc. She fell and her shoulder started hurting a lot. After Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez looked to see what he could do to alleviate her pain which only increased after the fall, they figured out that the only thing they could do was Shoulder Replacement surgery. My grandmother said lets do it. Setting up and scheduling the surgery was easy and painless thanks to Dr. Gonzalez-Hernandez courteous and friendly staff
