Dr. Ednan Mushtaq operates ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery, a private practice in McLean, Virginia. Prior to private practice he held teaching appointments as a clinical instructor in Atlanta, Georgia at Emory University, and was part of the clinical faculty at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Both positions involved teaching his specialty in the Division of Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Ednan Mushtaq attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and graduated in 1985. He then completed an internship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in General Surgery, and a residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Otolaryngology. In 1995 Dr. Mushtaq accepted a fellowship at Emory University in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This fellowship turned into his first teaching appointment at Emory.
Dr. Mushtaq is currently actively involved in providing Northern Virginia and the Washington D.C. Metro area with the highest quality service. He is on the VAMPAC board of directors for the Medical Society of Virginia and the board of directors for the Northern Virginia Medical Society.
