It is very disturbing to see the negative reviews on this once top notch doctor. Unfortunately, she seems to have fallen victim to burnout and perhaps even apathy brought on by the stress that comes along from life itself as well as from the complexities of healthcare today. She has certainly helped a tremendous number of people during her career. One can only hope that she can/will gracefully retire now to preserve her stellar reputation. It sounds like mentally she already has checked out whether intentionally or not. Perhaps it's time for the body to follow.

Unpleasant experience She seemed withdrawn and had very little to add during appointment. When asked questions not willing to go in to great detail regardless of how much time left in an appointment. She probably would have been more accommodating had I been more pleasant had I wanted to chit chat but that’s not what I was there for. As long as you don’t expect to much from her she will be a fine psychiatrist

This lady prescribed inappropriate medication. My major depression got worse while I was seeing her. She wouldn't try something else when I told her things were getting worse. I ended up in the hospital. I don't think she cared one way or another. Very cold.

I really disagree with any review that says she is uncaring. I find her to be very caring. She always asks about any family issue I may be having on my next visit. We have a very good rapport.

I found Dr. Bayliss to be extremely professional, knowledgable, caring, efficient, and kind. I am surprised to see any reviews saying otherwise. She really listened to me, asked good questions, and seemed willing to work with me to find the best treatment. I would absolutely recommend her.

Was not alert during sessions, did not properly diagnosed me that ended up with me losing employment. Was argumentative when I reported this to her. Very poor health professional.

Dr Balyliss is excellent at her job - diagnosing and prescribing the right drug from the start. I have been to so many psychiatrists and endured awful side affects from drugs they thought would be a huge help. Dr Bayliss got my diagnosis, and resulting prescriptions, correct right from the start. I highly recommend seeing her and a therapist for your whole health needs. Her job is to help with the meds, a therapist can be the one you talk with and spend more time with.

When talking to Dr Bayliss, she sits and types, saying very little. I get the impression she doesn't care. When I needed a Fit for Duty form filled out, she charged me $50. This needed diagnosis & date 2 check boxes to work without restrictions and full time, signature and date. She made sure I would pay it before starting the visit, so all I could think about was the $50 for less than 5 min time. 1st visit she prescribed very expensive meds. 1 week later she said it doesn't treat my illness.

I really can't understand how this doctor has any patients. I wish my primary care physician had referred me to someone that at least acted like they cared whether I got better or not. When you have major depression a little sensitivity would have been appreciated. I don't think the drugs she prescribed did anything but make me worse. I'm now seeing someone who is supportive and competent.
