Don't know how Chappell rates so high. Surgery on wife's neck made condition worse. He wouldn't check his work or proceed with back surgery, basically pouted because wife's condition didn't get better, then kicked her to the curb saying she was fine. He or his surgical "team" left used needles, used surgical blades in wife's bed/sheets just after surgery. I cut myself adjusting sheet for wife when she was wheeled into her room after surgery. Chappell always half hour/hour late to appointments

Dr. Chappell should not be in practice. My experience with him caused me to have another surgery, for the same thing that he was suppose to have done, a year later. He is a self serving, careless individual. After he walks out of the surgery room, he never wants to see you again!! There is no post-op appt. or ANYTHING. If you do get to see him, which I did after calling every day for 2 months, he acts as if you are a nuisance & wasting his valuable time. If you want to get better, AVOID HIM

He doesn't care for patients anymore. I mention symptoms,he pretends to be listening while typing on PC before I say anything. Won't check my neck unless I insist, how can he treat without looking?. Like a phone consult! I thought he would be good since he's also a professor. He took right after without checking on me or telling my loved ones how things went. He told me he needed to wrap up my WC case & said I reached MMI status & lost benefits due to that. Now I'm seeing other Drs. Avoid him!!
