What People Say About Dr. Dustin Harker, MD

I saw Dr. Harker because I had a seizure. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Not only did he ask me all about my problem and do a complete neurological exam, he reviewed my brain MRI with me & my husband in detail, showing us various images and explaining them to us. He answered all our questions and ordered additional testing. His staff was absolutely amazing. They scheduled my test, explained the necessary prep, and followed-up quickly with my results.

I was surprised by the lack of professionalism by Dr. Harker. He yawned the whole appointment. He had other people's charts laying out in the open so I could see them. He kept telling jokes. I don't feel like he helped me at all. At my last visit he basically said he didn't know what was causing my issues and that was all he could do for me. I basically spent a lot of money to learn nothing.

He lacked warmth and had a very flat affect, which is never something I look for in a healthcare provider. When he called my name while I was in the waiting room, I had to stand there next to him for 10 seconds while he was talking to someone before he even looked at me, let alone shaking my hand and introducing himself. On my follow up, he asked me to tell him what my symptoms were again, which I found funny since we literally spent a whole consultation appointment discussing exactly that???
