Dr. Cameron is one of a kind. He is an incredibly amazing doctor who is very attentive to his patients. He made sure to explain what he planned to do before my surgery and that I understood everything. The nurses told me that I had "the best" and I believe that I did! Facing open heart surgery is a terrifying thought, but I actually felt safe with Dr. Cameron and here I am 10 years later!

My name is Tammy Martin-Whorley Dr.Cameron was my surgeon in October 2013. I had an aortic annusysm ready to rupture had been off work for 6 months. The aortic root & aorta cow valve had to be replaced . Plus a Cornary sent had to be put in. Very thankful to Dr. Cameron he took very good care of me. I am alive today because of him. Thank you Dr. Cameron your Frito Lay buddy . From Christiansburg, Va

Duke Cameron performed a valve sparing aortic root replacement on me on June 3, 2014. He explained the procedure in detail and patiently answered all of my questions.

It is obvious Dr. Cameron loves what he does and shows such compassion to his patients. I have never met a more trusting, knowledgeable, yet humble physician. He takes his time when consulting with patients, explains minute details, and does not rush to perform surgery. This is our second time seeing Dr. Cameron regarding our daughters heart issues(she has Marfan Syndrome) and he is still advising us to wait a few more months, pray for a miracle (he has seen them firsthand) and sit tight.
