Dr Sorensen preformed a parathyroid surgery on me 2 years ago. Disaster! I have no voice and the doctor claims no responsibility! No idea this might happen to me for life!

Dr. Sorensen performed parathyroid surgery on me over 3 years ago. It was a disaster, resulting in me losing my voice for 3 about months. Almost as bad, he claimed no responsibility even though he cut into the wrong side of my neck and had to move to the opposite side, during surgery, to find the tumor; that was with a sestamibi scan on hand. My swallowing will never be the same; I choke every time I drink clear liquids. His arrogance, telling me the injury was my fault, was astounding.

Very caring and supportive Dr. I could go on for hours about the character and compassion of Dr. Sorenson and his nurses. I would definitely recommend seeing him. Wish all Dr's had the caring bedside manner that he has.

Went in to see him for two issues and ended up with this doctor claiming I had another issue than what I was thinking my problems were and he knew what had to be done so on first visit he scheduled me for sinus surgery a week later. Now I have a new problem thanks to this scam doctor. They did this as a day surgery at St Joe Tac Wa & sent me home bleeding from my nose profusely & I then end up in the ER that night hemorrhaging from my nose & couldn't swallow, wrecked my teeth, beware, !

I saw Dr. Sorenson for one yr. He performed sinus surgery to correct sinus polyps in Feb. and I continued to have infections and was given an antibiotic every mo. except one until Nov. of that year. He said the course was done. At that time I had an infection and couldn't smell or taste. I had to find another Dr. The new Dr. did a culture, cleared the infection and put me on a regimen of sinus rinses with Budesonide and I haven't had an infection for the last 18 mos.
