Care Philosophy

When I first learned to do hip replacement surgery twenty-five years ago, patients were routinely in the hospital for two weeks or more. The patients had a lot of pain and were on crutches for long periods of time and overall it took a long time to recover. I became interest in developing ways to help patients get better faster after hip replacement surgery. Twenty-five years of research has led to today's minimally invasive approach, the Direct Superior.

I have complete trust in Dr. Roger. If I could have him do my second knee surgery I would. He is a very sound doctor and kind person. He is intelligent and very trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone. He is very busy and in high demand and there is great reason for that. He is a gifted surgeon.

I had what was described as a "sprained" ankle. I had the MRI and X-Ray done that he ordered to provide him information for his diagnosis. After 3 appointments were cancelled at the last minute, because he was supposedly the only Ortho surgeon in Palm Springs, he said that it may or may not heal and that was it! A year later I am still suffering with it. He should have at least referred me to a different physician! A total waste of time out of my life!
in Hemet, CA |
I was very sceptical about the procedure, but the surgery went very smoothly, maybe 45 min.and my recovery time was awesome I went home the next day, though painful, but that was 2013 now i am ready for my right knee to be replaced by him and only him.thank you Dr.Rodgers.
Unkind and condescending

I spent over 10 years going to this office, waiting hundreds of hours without getting any help whatsoever with any of my injuries. I had another injury in January and my insurance wanted me to go to him as my only option and I refused.

Dr. Roger was completely affable, diagnosed and explained what my problem was, explained what were and what weren't my treatment options, and treated me on the spot. Couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. I recommend Dr. Roger without reservation. The staff at ICON were friendly, professional, and performed their jobs well.
Palm Desert, CA |
Amazing surgeon! I had a hip replacement and was walking around the hospital 3 hours after surgery without any assistance! His surgical approach is to cut minimal tissue and muscle. He is teaching doctors from around the world his unique surgical method. I didn't even need physical therapy! Also, very little pain. Fabulous!

Dr Rogers scheduled my surgery for March 9th, 2016 at 6:15pm. I've needed this for six years. I have a 16lb service animal, who I was told in pre-op, could be with me. Dr. Roger's office called the night before and changed the time to 5:15am, and told me the dog could not be there. I showed up early., without my dog. The time changed to 10:30am. The head of the nursing staff said I could run home to see my dog and let him out. The next thing I know, Dr. Roge's office cancelled my surgery. Idiot!
