I think the doctor has an eating disorder. And it has been said by his very own colleagues nurse and physicians that he's off his rocker. He seems to be on the spectrum as well . He is a medical doctor , but pushes a holistic approach down your throat. Ok, for basic neurology . His scope of knowledge seems limited when dealing with generic abnormalities. Offensive, poor bedside manner, and doesn't listen. He would be ok if you're in a coma . Definitely not throrough. Subpar and basic.

I was taken into the Emergency Room at Healthpark Hospital in Ft. Myers with Vertigo. Dr. Newland was assigned to my case. He was most thorough and helpful. He was especially good with PT and sent a therapist to my room, after I was admitted, to show me exercises. I found him to be exceptionally qualified and giving me all kinds of good advice including diet and exercise. I would recommend him to anyone needing a good Neurologist.

My husband has numerous episodes of major brain problems in the past 9 years, and I have never seen a neurologist that took such an interest in his case. He stayed in my husband's room close to an hour and a half and took notes of everything that has occured with him medically from day 1. In conclusion of his thorough exam he came up with several ideas that hopefully will lead to the best outcome possible for my husband. He's thorough, personable and very knowledgeable in his field.
