This content was provided by Dr. Evans "Dr. Evans is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation at Loyola Medical Center. He earned his medical degree at State University of New York at Buffalo where he also completed his residency in Orthopaedic surgery. Following residency he completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Chicago. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic surgery and a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also an active member in the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. In addition to authoring his own academic endeavors, he is a principal reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine and an editorial board member for the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine. He serves as team physician for Loyola University and other local high schools and colleges. He also serves as team physician for the United States National University Men's Hockey team and served as team physician for the American delegation to the Winter World University Games in numerous countries including Spain, Turkey, Kazakhstan and Italy."
