I'm a retired physician and my husband, Frank Heckl, has asked me to get an appointment with Dr. Barrett...I've been on the phone for over an hour and cannot reach a person. Is there a number to call to make an appointment and hear something other than that recording?

I would not recommend this doctor to others because while he will call you to answer questions, his staff is rude, the clinic manager is awful, they twist the truth and he changed my diagnosis I never said I was comfortable with. His nurses need to grow up. They believe what they want and nothing else. They do whatever they want without respect for the patients. I do not trust the decisions of this doctor nor do I like they change things without respect to the patients decisions and opinions.

Dr Barrett was my doctor back in the late 70's to early 80's. I moved to California that is the only reason he is no longer my doctor. He is the best neurologist I have ever seen. My sister who lives in Albuquerque is having some neurological problems. First thing I told her, go see Dr. Barrett. The staff working back then were great but it has been many many years so I can't speak on behalf of the staff that is there today. Just in case you read this Dr. Barrett, my name is Yolanda Lucero.

Got to the office thinking I was going to have to wait. Dr. Barrett came out less than 2 minutes later. What I love the most is that if I call the office it's always Doctor Barrett who calls me back rather than it being someone from the office call me. My information is safe in his care.
