Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
A graduate of University of South Florida College of Medicine (in 2000 with academic honors), I initially focused my resident training towards ENT, but switched to neurosurgery after I was cross exposed to neurosurgery and spine. I then went on to complete a one year fellowship in complex spine at a large tertiary care center which emphasized deformity care, sacral disorders and minimally invasive management. Here I furthered my love of spine care but also saw sobering results of excess fusions and poor craftsmanship. This evoked my desire to discuss each management option with patients and their families as open communication allows patients to choose what is right for them. During my tenure as a minimally invasive spine specialists I have performed thousands of procedures.
