I am a retired Pharmaceutical Representative, therefore, l knew Dr. Russo and Callister long before l became a patient. They are very good doctors that l trust and respect. I know that l am in good hands with them. I think they are well respected, and definitely know what they are doing. Since l had numerous Cardiovascular medicines that they used, they can speak to me about various medications, and they know that l can follow what they are talking about. Hopefully, we can get my issues correcte

The office is a dusty mess because they're remodeling. I waited in the hallway and in an office for nearly an hour before being seen. Dr. Russo, however, listened to my history and issues. He recommended what I think are the appropriate tests. So, in spite of the office condition and the tardiness, I got decent care.

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Russo for a few years now. Let me first state that I know the Doc. saved my life a few years ago. I’ve been seeing him since then. I find the Doc easily to talk to, (he’s a good listener). He explains my treatment in terms that I understand. He has a patient first attitude. I would recommend Doctor Russo to anyone looking for a compassionate and professional cardiologist. May I add that Doctor Russo’s staff in his Gallatin office are friendly and eager to help you.

Dr. Russo, was very kind, caring and considerate. He was very clear in what his findings entail. Not the type of doctor to do procedures/surgeries that are not absolutely necessary. Highly recommend him.

I first met Dr. Russo several years ago when he saw my husband at Sumner Regional Hospital. When my PCP needed to refer me to a Cardiologist, Dr. Russo was my first choice. He provides excellent care, always considering insurance and out-of-pocket expense...but never compromising quality.
