Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Bae ""My interest in orthopedics stems from my prior experience as a athlete, having successfully recovered from surgery on both shoulders to swim at the Division 1 level and captain the Harvard Mens Varsity Team. I was fortunate to train in orthopedics, pediatrics, and hand surgery at outstanding centers of excellence, and ultimately joined the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital.

Caring for infants with congenital hand differences, children with neuromuscular disorders, adolescents with fractures, or collegiate athletes with sports injuries is both a tremendous privilege and profound responsibility. My professional philosophy is to provide the highest quality, most compassionate care to improve the lives of my patients, based upon the best scientific evidence available.  Furthermore I am firmly committed to both education and research, to train the next generation of orthopedic surgeons and improve the standards of care for future patients.""

Dr. Bae is very kind, compassionate, funny, charismatic, intelligent, and just a total down to earth bro. I 110% trust his ability to diagnose me, explain to me the diagnosis, and go over the pros and cons of all the different treatment options. When he and I decided that surgery was the best course of action on both my elbows, I had full confidence in his decision and ability as an outstanding surgeon. I had my left elbow done on October 6, 2015, and my right elbow done on February 2, 2015.
