I had been to the ER twice with breathing difficulties and severe chest pain. They sent me home and said, "see a Pulmonologist". I googled Pulmonologist and Dr. Dekeratry came up. I was able to get an appointment the next day after they pulled the ER records, had surgery the following day and received immediate and expert care at St. David's Georgetown ICU.

Very rude! Not a very understanding man. My daughter has severe PTSD and social anxiety. I was very proud of her when she spoke to Dr. Dekeratry. She did good for a minute and then she looked at me for my help. I explained what she was saying to him and he informed me that he was not speaking to me and that if she can not speak for herself that we needed to leave. Horribly rude! Horribly

A prime example: in 2014, I was feeling mighty "ill" (despite my primary Docs treatment) and I collapsed on the front lawn. - My son took me to the local EMS facility while my wife called Dr. DeKeratry's office. EMS delivered me to the St. David's Georgetown Hosp. E.R. - Dr. DeKeratry was there waiting for me. I had developed a pneumonia, and Dr. DeKeratry provided the needed treatment. Five "Thumbs-Up" from me!

When asked to review lab reports with me for my Mother in ICU, he refused and told me if I wished to know I could obtain from Medical Records. I am a full POA. The only reply to my questions was, "I don't think you are listening or getting my message." Repeated reply for every question I asked. Unprofessional and rude.
