Six months after arthroscopic ankle surgery I had twice the pain, half the mobility and no confidence my ankle would hold me on trails. I wrote him a letter and he replied with the smarmiest phone call I have ever had with a doctor, commiserating on how hard it must have been for me to write the letter. No, Dr. Asherman: What's hard is the loss of mobility and the increased pain.

Best surgeon ever. He fixed me right up and got me back playing basketball pain free when before I limped all the time. He removed bone chips out of my ankle and did a superb job.

He seems to be incredibly competent & knowledgeable. He is also very arrogant and lacks in concern for how pain affects patients in their daily life.
