Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Randazzo "As a doctor of osteopathy I truly believe in a holistic approach to caring for my patients and aim to accomplish this. Curing glioblastoma is always the ultimate goal but improving the quality of life of each brain tumor patient is just as important. My path in the medical field has been nontraditional and with each life experience it has progressed. The deaths of family members and friends have given me the drive to become a neurologist specializing in neuro-oncology but it was the concern for their quality of life which shaped my career path. I became a licensed massage therapist focusing on neuromuscular therapy in order to alleviate the pain of my patients. Through the years I learned and practiced numerous massage modalities acupressure Reiki and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). It is this interest in complementary and alternative therapies and improving the quality of life of primary brain tumor patients which drives my research."

Very caring. Very knowledgeable of current treatment options. She is fast at changing chemotherapies if the cancer is not responding to current treatments. Highly recommend Dr. Randazzo.

She can be nice but can also have an attitude. I don't think she knows what she should about aggressive brain cancer. Don't expect for her to refer you for other treatments, until it's too late. I think she just focuses on giving patients hope vs let's treat this aggressively! Definitely search for...more
