Empathetic and Caring Doctor
Dr. Puppala is highly intelligent with an outstanding bedside manner! He has been instrumental in my COPD and sleep apnea diagnosis plus treatment. I’ve been a patient of his for over five years. He listens to his patients!

Dr. Puppala has been my pulmonary disease doctor for over ten years. He has a great bedside manner and is an extremely knowledgeable gentleman who cares about his patients. I am hesitant to write him a good review because this most likely will lead to me having to wait longer to see him due to an increase in his patients, but I will anyway because he deserves recognition. Thanks for keeping me well.

Dr Pupalla is a good doctor but the staff is horrible. Never answer phones. Had second CT denied by insurance and they did nothing to clarify and never returned my calls.

Very disappointing experience. I was diagnosed with copd and I was offered no advice or explanation of what the disease entailed. Pretty much learned of my diagnosis through an email. I was given a prescription and sent on my way.

I really liked Dr. Puppala but his staff were horrible. I was to have a second CT scan on my lungs and the staff never confirmed With my insurance. The imaging place tried to contact them several times over a period of two months. I tried and tried to get them to do it to no avail. Another dr. Contacted this office for me and got no reply . It’s a waste of time and money to go this office no matter how good the doctor is.

Dr Puppala sent a portal message to his patients on March 16 during coronavirus. Oak trees and grass pollen was extremely high and I didnt feel well and my anxiety was high. I replied to his message with my symptoms. Within minutes he called me. He called my pharmacy and ordered medication. I feel so much better. My anxiety diminished just by speaking with him. Dr Puppala is a very caring doctor. I appreciate him and his staff very much and Im so thankful he is one of my doctors.

Dr Puppala himself is nice, and easy to work with. However I have never waited less than 45 minutes past my appointment time to see him (usually over an hour) and his staff are just terrible. The event that lead me to write this review was my recent experience (the latest in a string of bad experiences) when my BiPap machine broke. The machine was making a funny noise, so I called the surgery to see what they would suggest. The woman on the phone looked up my records, told me the machine was still under warranty and that the only way to use the warranty was to bring it in to the office, she told me the name of the lady I should ask for when I got there. So I took a morning off work to drive over there (they've recently moved so they are now a 40 minute drive instead of a 10 minute drive from home). I got there and asked for the name I was given. The desk lady asked if I had an appointment. I said no, I wasn't told I needed one. She told me the lady wouldn't see me without an appoin

I have IPF. I am approaching my 6th year under Dr Puppala's care. I believe he is directly responsible for me living this long. Not only is Dr Puppala very knowledgeable, he actually listens when the patient talks. He will go the last mile to address the patient's needs, whether it be new medicine or new procedures. Dr. Puppala is hands down the best pulmonologist I have had.
