I saw her a year ago to check for RA and she spent about 5-10 min with me and said it was osteoarthritis even though the pain was severe and never looked for any other causes and I went a year with undiagnosed fibromyalgia. I saw another Rheumatologist recently and he diagnosed it and was very surprised she didn't find it since Rheumatologist's usually are the ones who diagnose this.

Kind of cold actually. I have RA she kept me on prednisone for almost a year I developed knee pain and bone loss to my mouth.lost a front tooth. I developed pneumonia after my first remicade iv therapy appt witch should have never been given without a cxr since I was having shortness of breath I was in the hospital 5 days. she did not even know and was honestly not that interested. was pd over 100,000 for 4 iv treatments then she drops me for 3 missed prescheduled appt. unsympathetic BEWARE!

I just discovered this website. Even though it was over a year ago, my visit w/Dr. George was quite memorable for all the wrong reasons. I was referred for Osteoarthritis. She questioned my referral, informed me she treated only arthritic diseases, such as Rheumatoid arthritis or Lupus. She referred to my condition as wear & tear & wouldn't even use the term Osteoarthritis. Maybe she would be totally different with patients who have the diseases she recognizes, but seniors beware!!
