I had an arthroscopic surgery done on my knee by Dr. Cote last year and it resulted in a failed diagnosis of my main issue. The whole treatment was poor and I felt uncomfortable with him. The supporting medical staff were nice, though the nurses I saw got very defensive and shrugged off my concerns. Never saw Cote once after. I came from this feeling stupid and ashamed. After so many follow ups and guesswork, I went elsewhere with a more professional manner and they found a missed torn ACL which they said it got progressively worse since it was not originally repaired. Not only did I suffer through pain and lost time and money, but now I might have more possible irreversible damage due to Cote's misdiagnosis.

I had right knee replacement surgery in November, 2019. Today is February 4, and I have been dismissed from physical therapy due to excellent progress. I had no idea that my knee was as bad as it was until now when I have no pain and can walk without waddling. Dr. Cote did an excellent knee replacement surgery for me and I would highly recommend him. Thanks so much.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Cote. How can he care pass as a doctor these days? He misdiagnosed my issue, and his surgery not only didn't fix my elbow pain, but it's worse now. He didn't even see me after surgery, as if he knew he messed up.

He has been very helpful over the last few years. Has helped with my pain in my knees and helped me get a brace for my ankle. Both Dr. Cote and his staff have treated me with care and a smile.

I went through Dr Cote for my chronic shoulder pain and ended up with sharp pain and numbness down my arm. Cote said (well his nurse, never saw Cote after) he did a labral repair with some minor cleaning out of the area, but the whole ordeal was a terrible experience through him. Worse is the news I got after seeing another orthopedic surgeon who had an MRI performed and said I might have permanent nerve damage along with separation of my labral tear due to poor anchorinI went through Dr Cote for my chronic shoulder pain and ended up with sharp pain and numbness down my arm. Worse is the news I got after seeing another ortg during the repair. I tried long bouts of rest and rehab to see if it just needed more time, but still suffer from a lot of pain in the area and am unable to do normal day to day activities.

I had a what was suppose to be a routine surgery on my meniscus with Dr. Cote and my knee pain still persists to this day even after proper rehabilitation. I also didn't like his bedside manner and the fact he wasn't very involved with my after care. Should have seen someone else.

Saw him for a knee replacement. 1. Arrogant 2. Never saw him after surgery 3. Knee is WORSE now I would not recommend this Dr. I now know several of our locals who have seen him and also continue to have issues following their surgery. He refuses to see you after surgery and his asst does ALL follow up. I now have another surgery forthcoming because of the botch job and have NOT enjoyed this long painful process, not to mention the cost. Save yourself the time, go elsewhere!
