Takes his time explaining things and is very experienced and talented. You couldn't get a better doctor to take care of you

On Jan. 17th of 2017, Dr. Snook performed a double laminectomy on me at L3-4 and L4-5. I was very happy with the outcome, and now at almost two months post-surgery, my recovery is right on track. I found he and his assistant to be both competent and professional in every way. The office staff have also been kind and helpful. I had been in horrible pain for many weeks, and since waking up post surgery, have been pain-free.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr Snook for any back surgery! I had surgery for a large herniated disk (L4/L5) impinging on a nerve root in 2014. I almost crawled into the surgery center it was so bad. He actually moved his schedule around to get me into surgery!! After the 30 minute surgery and recovery I was wheeled to my car. I got up from the wheel chair and got into the car without pain. Of course I had a good dose of pain meds on-board but I knew I was going to be good! No issues since!

Saw Dr Snook after visiting with another physician within Ortho for lumbar injections RE: chronic pain. Dr Snook was very kind explaining my condition and I agreed to much needed surgery. I was scheduled and had surgery the beginning of Sept 2016. I found him to be very kind and very attentive. I have also seen his PA who is also very kind and attentive. I would also like to make mention of Mechelle the medical secretary. She has earned her wings.

I was a patient of Dr Snook. I requested an appt, and instead of meeting with the Dr. I met with his assistant. I was in severe pain and had I not saw him in the hallway, I would have went home w/o pain meds. After I had an MRI, I met with Dr Snook and the procedure he suggested was old school. I changed Dr's. and had my surgery at the New Albany Surgical Center. The procedure was less invasive and was done as an outpatient. The surgery was exceptional and now I'm pain free.

I went to see Dr. Snook twice. The initial visit was the end of 2015. I had an MRI on my neck - which was the reason for the visit - ongoing neck issues from a past accident I was in. He immediately suggested surgery which I wasn't ready to do. I went back this week after an increase in frequency and level of pain. Now he says he doesn't suggest surgery and doesn't know what to tell me. Very dismissive and short with me. I didn't have a good feeling initially - felt like he wasn't present

Dr. Snook has performed several back injections on me and it has improved my quality of life. I find him to be an honest, straight forward doctor with a good bedside manner. I will continue to see Dr. Snook as needed.
Reynoldsburg, OH |
Do not go to this surgeon. Despite the fact that I was rushed after surgery for them to check for blood clots in my leg (the opposite leg of the one I went in for because of compressed nerves), he was extremely rude when I would tell him about the new problems I was now having in my other leg. He basically told me the problems were in my head and that I needed to forget I ever had back surgery. The The new problems were not in my head and I have been dealing with them ever since.

The doctor gave me almost five minutes of his time. I found him condescending and dismissive.

My husband had been in the hospital and was diagnosed with new back pain. He went from the hospital to the rehab center. I called to get an appointment and had to wait 2 weeks. My husband is an established patient and has had 2 surgeries with Dr. Snook. I felt he should have been seen within a couple of days.
