Very knowledgeable and thorough exam and discussion of my issues. He explained my problem much differently than my former orthopedist, and treated the symptoms differently also. I feel much better since my meeting with Dr. Shia.

Dr. Shia is nothing short of outstanding! Knows what the issues are, states the options and what he thinks will work best. No nonsense and even when performing procedures, he’s pain free and smooth.

Very friendly, knowlegable and supportive staff. Everybody , the dr, his assistant and the radiologist ! I arrived very early and I was seen quickly, I did not have to wait at all- thank you

Great surgeon. But even more he is a Great guy . Very friendly and No nonsense. Talks to you in terms you can understand. Hopefully I wont have to go back, but if I do I would absolutely see him again.

Dr. Derek Shia is exceptional in his field. Beyond the skilled work he performs, he is very relatable as a human being. He is compassionate, intelligent, and kind. His patients are lucky to have him as an advocate and teacher.
