After 3 years of enduring arthritic pain in my left knee I decided to have a total knee replacement surgery done by Dr. Jenkins. It has been 2 1/2 months since my surgery and I have a mobility walking & performing everyday activities I haven’t had for years. My knee pain is minimal to none. I am thankful for the professional care & treatment I received.

Having my hip replaced by Dr Jenkins truly changed my life. Previous to surgery my mobility was strictly impaired, however after the replacement I was able to return to my younger lifestyle of exercising , walking , and traveling. Pain was minimal. Recovery was quick, and I’m grateful everyday for the surgery I had done by Dr Jenkins.

and Gastrointestinal surgeons. Each explained to me not just the surgical procedure, but pointed out to me, on X-Rays and MRIs, the exact physiological injury and taught me how to read X-Rays and MRIs. Each surgeon explained every test I was to have and why. Dr. Jenkins delegated test explanation to his SECRETARY whose explanation was: “It is our Protocol.” Doctors tell a patient which test are being ordered for you and why, NOT SECRETARIES. Protocol is not a reason for a test This treatment was Insulting, Autocratic, and Omnipotent and told me: “Patients are not important enough for Dr. Jenkins to waste his time telling me, I use my Secretary to do that.” Dr. Jenkin’s Secretary could not tell me why I had to have this test, because she did not know. Stay away from Dr. Jenkin, a patient has the right to know all and to ask questions. How to tell a bad Doctor: 1) Trust your gut; 2) If something seems off with your physician, it probably is. 3) If you detect that a doctor is indifferent

I had my second hip replaced by Dr. Jenkins. The results have been fantastic! I have resumed my active lifestyle, and, honestly, I feel twenty years younger. I am so grateful. Dr. Jenkins is a wonderful surgeon.

Rudest, most unprofessional doctor I have ever met! Talks to his patients like they are idiots and he is God! He double and triple books appointments so be prepared to wait at least an hour before he sees you. There are far better orthopedic surgeons in RI who actually care about their patients. Dr. Jenkins needs to go back to school and take Patient Care 101.

I have been a nurse/nurse practitioner for 45 years and have seen and cared for a lot. I was afraid of having a much needed total knee replacement because of what I have seen and know from my work experience. Dr. Jenkins was incredibly patient with me and reassured me that he would be there for me when I was ready for a TKA. I had several steroid injections that became less and less lastingly helpful so I finally decided on the surgery. I can not say enough about Dr. Jenkin's skills. I so appreciate his attention to detail, thorough explanations, and emphasis on realistic expectations for joint replacement. My surgery went smoothly even though I was a complicated patient. I trust Dr. Jenkins completely for orthopedic care related to knees and hips. I have recommended him to others seeking either a first procedure or revision of previous unsuccessful surgeries. I am truly grateful for him as my orthopedic surgeon. His skill in the procedure has given me my life back.

Dr. Jenkins is an extremely capable orthopedic surgeon. I recently had a total knee replacement done by Dr. Jenkins. Because I am knock-kneed he also took care of that during the surgery. I now not only have a new knee but a straight leg as well. My recovery has been remarkable. My physical therapist remarked that he has never seen a faster recovery from a total knee replacement. I did not need pain meds for long and will have my other knee replaced and leg straightened in September.

My experience with Dr. Jenkins went very well. In September of 2018 Dr. Jenkins performed a right hip replacement. Back in October of 2010 I had a left hip replacement done by a different surgeon. The technique Dr. Jenkins used my recovery time was much shorter and with alot less discomfort. Within days of returning home from the hospital I was able to put my weight on my right leg and get around the house without the use of a walker or cane. I would recommend highly Dr. Jenkins.
