Waste of time and money. This doctor received a full referral and didn't even read through it. She did the evaluation only to say she wouldn't accept the case at the end due to a complex medical history she wasn't comfortable with. All of that info was in the referral. It seems like she went through the eval just so she could bill insurance for several hundred dollars. Terrible bedside manner too. Not as caring as you would hope a psychiatrist to be.

Very disappointed in my experience with Dr. Eker. I sought treatment from her for Major Depressive Disorder & Generalized Anxiety Disorder in 2020, and due to her being booked out, couldn't get in to see her within a month's time from one appointment to the next. She refilled my prescription so I'd have enough to get by until I could see her, but even though she was the one who refilled the Rx (all communication done via the messaging portion of the app), she accused me of getting my medication elsewhere when I actually saw her for the appointment later that month. She told me I shouldn't ever do this again, or she'd...and then stopped herself there. Or what? I simply got the refill from her and she wasn't organized, making me think she'd leave me in withdrawls. As someone who was seeking out treatment for anxiety, this doctor constantly left me thinking I was going to run out of my SSRI, and created SO much more anxiety. So much happier with my new psychiatrist--please be warned.

saw Dr Eker via telehealth for about a year. She never spent more than 5 minutes with me - refused to listen to my concerns and ultimately dropped me as a client for no reasons with no warning. Terrible.

I have been suffering from general anxiety disorder (GAD) and severe depression for almost 10 years and been prescribed various antidepressants, which didn't work. However, Dr. Eker performed a thorough analysis and prescribed perfect medication which out me back up within a week. I feel alive, happy, and energized again. I am strongly recommending Dr. Eker at least for the patients who are suffering from GAD and depression. You will not regret my recommendation.
