Dr Nam now is associated with Midwest Orthopedics at Rush Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. I recently had a total knee replacement performed by Dr Nam at Rush Hospital. The pre-operation visits were prompt and directed on the procedure current condition and projected outcome. He spent the time to listen and give explanation to my concerns. He was easy to understand and talked to me in everyday terminology.Recovery was wonderful with pain free in 6 weeks post op and no limping or discomfort.

Dr. Nam has done a knee replacement surgery for me recently. So far my recovery has been going very well. He has been great about explaining everything and each step as needed and answers any questions I may have. His whole staff is very friendly and helpful as well. They have made this as pleasant as possible for being a surgery. It seems as they have everything covered and you the patient just need to focus on your recovery.

Dr Nam, I had a great and very professional support from you and your team before and during the surgery. Unfortunately the problems started to happen around 4 months after the surgery. I am still struggling to walk perfectly without pain. Seems that now I have a leg longer than the other. I've been lost in what to do after the surgery and felt that was up to me in what to do. I am very sad and frustrated as I was expecting to be fully cured after a quite big surgery. Andrei R.

I was referred to Dr. Nam by my initial hip surgeon who was getting old. I went to him because I was having pain. He examined me (for maybe 3 minutes) and told me to just not worry about, wait and see. I waited a year and by then the pain was much worse. Went to another doctor who operated on me immediately and told me I had extensive tissue damage. I should have been operated on when I first went to Dr. Nam. Please don't use this doctor, he really doesn't know what he is doing; he is terrible.

I had surgery with this doctor back in 2014. Already I am having problems and will have to replace the faulty equipment he put in me. I am so devastated. His response: "It happens." Do not have surgery with this doctor.

I'm updating my moms progress! Dr.Nam did my moms hip replacement on Sept 14 at Barnes Jewish. She is 89 and now 6 weeks post surgery, she is still doing great! She is pain free and walking around. She has truly been given a second chance at life and we are all grateful! Mom went to several of her Arnold, Mo and St.Anthony hospital, Tesson Ferry Ortho doctors and they dismissed her saying she was too old and keep taking pain pills! But Dr.Nam took her on and realized living in pain was not cool!

Dr. Denis Nam and his Rep, Alyssa were great! Dr. Nam said he would do My moms hip replacement at age 89 as long as her heart tested good! It did and she's walking after 3 days! He cared enough to listen and do it when all other doctors dismissed her due to age! Dr. Nam cared enough to help her live pain free after suffering for 3 years! Her surgery at Barnes Jewish and I stayed at Parkway hotel across the street with a catwalk over to south tower! It was great and they have patient rates, call

He was very dismissive of my concerns and questions. I felt like cattle in his office. I worked with him (and his assistants) for a year before finally giving up and moving on to a different doctor that actually listened to me. I understand that ortho surgeons are notorious for having little social skills, but c'mon. This guys empathy was close to zero. The doctor I have now is a dream.
in Eureka, Mo. |
Dr. Nam and his staff were very friendly, and answered all of my questions throughout the entire process of my hip replacement. He's an excellent doctor that I would recommend to anyone.
