She was consulted for our labor as there were some (many) problems. She was there within a few minutes, and continued to check on us frequently. She did a lot of things to try to avoid a cesarean, but in the end I needed one anyway. She made it a good and happy experience for us, even though it was not how we had envisioned the birth. I loved the clear drape behind the regular one, that let us see the baby and touch him through the drape right after he was born!
I was referred to Dr. Ravasia by my family doctor to talk about my PCOS, my weight and acne. I'm so glad I went to see her. It was the first time someone as able to explain to me how they all fit together and didn't just tell me I needed to lose weight. She explained to me how it was all about insulin, not weight. I lost 20 pounds since I saw her not too long ago and my periods are back on track.
Absolutely the best!! This doctor was super attentive, let me ask a ton of questions, answered them all in a way I understood, and gave me a bunch of material to read about my problems as well. She set up follow-up exams and kept on working on my problems until I was feeling better again. Highly recommended! I would give her ten stars if I could.
She took good care of me and believed me. I was assaulted badly while trying to travel south to get away from the forest fires, by someone I had to travel with but didn't know well. When I was finally able to get to the nearest hospital where she happened to be on call, she was great. She did my gyne exam under anesthesia, collected all the right samples and called the police to be sure the tests were run. He's locked up now.

Dr. Ravasia was friendly and helpful. She listened carefully and followed up closely. She was sometimes difficult to get an appointment with because she was so busy, but helped me immensely once I did get in to see her

Excellent care, confident but not overly so. Explains well and follows up. Highly recommended.
Post Falls, ID |
I went to see Dr. Ravasia because I was still having irregular periods at age 55. My GP and another gynecologist told me this was normal. I had read on the Internet that this might not be normal. My friend told me that if something was wrong Dr Ravasia would find it. Dr Ravasia told me this was not necessarily normal and did a bunch of tests. Ultrasound, labs, even a biopsy. Long and short of it is that she found my cervical cancer while it was still treatable.

She was able to get me pain free after two other surgeons said it couldn't be done. I am still not perfect but my pelvic pain (and mesh) are now gone
Mead, WA |
As both my doctor and my friend, Dr. Ravasia has inspired me to make the wholesome lifestyle changes I needed to make to feel great and be healthy. Not only have my women's health issues gotten better, but my general health and outlook have gotten better over the years as well.
I highly recommend her. She does not miss much. You have to wait a long time to get in to see her (unless you have an emergency, then it's pretty fast). Sometimes you spend a while waiting once you get there. But she always takes the time to get through my whole list of problems when it's my turn, and she explains things in a way that is easy for me to understand.

Dr. Ravasia has been my physician for a long time, and I hope she stays in the Spokane area. She is careful and caring and has helped me through many short and long term medical problems.
Spokane, WA |
Very thorough. She figured out what was causing symptoms that other doctors had long since given up on

I worked with her for years in the OR at the hospital, and knew she was a gifted surgeon, so I went to see her when I had my own troubles. I am doing much better, and found her explanations and time and attention to detail helpful.
Spokane, WA |
i don't know if it was the laparoscopy or the control of my PCOS that she was able to help me achieve but I have two beautiful baby boys within the four years she looked after me after 8 years of not being able to get pregnant
Mead, WA |
This office was not perfect, but the medical care was awesome. You will not find another doctor as thorough as this doctor for hundreds of miles around. I highly recommend her to family and friends and hope that she stays in the area. Everything was looked after in one office. Their billing was confusing though. I am a medical biller so I was able to figure out their invoices, after some study. It all seems to be done appropriately, but sent out late, and several months after the fact.
Smithfield, NC |
Run. Just filed $191 million bankruptcy. I had a terrible, painful experience with a cryoablation procedure. I went to another respected ob/gyn who said it should never have been completed in an office environment. And...it was an unsuccessful procedure.

I will miss her careful approach and detailed explanations. I am planning to follow her to her new practice - hopefully the new practice will be a little more organized though in terms of scheduling and billing.

She took an interest in my overall health. I appreciate the approach of treating underlying chronic problems not just focusing on collecting a PAP

She added the component of patient education, including me in my own health care and helping me understand why certain medications were being recommended.

I started seeing Ravasia in Dec-2015. She started running unnecessary tests on me. I'm not that much overweight and they suggested I start their weight management program. I was put on phentermine and topamax which made me sick. I had a thyroid ultra sound in January and stop going to Ravasia's office in Feb 2016. SIX months later I received a phone call that something was found on my thyroid ultra sound and I needed to schedule another appt.

I love the way this office and Dr. has connected all the dots that other past doctors have just touched on. They really understand what is going on with the body and how it all works.

Dr. and staff are really responsive to any questions. I was able to get appoints when it was convenient with my work schedule.

The one thing I like about Dr Ravasia and all the providers, I see. in the metabolic program is that the care and plans are very specific to you as an individual. But you need to be involved in your own care and give honest feedback each visit. Good support that allows you to take control of your own health.

I was a patient for over 2 years. Dr. Ravasia performed my hysterectomy and did a quality job. Then the practice started to require metabolic testing, expensive labs and unrealistic appointment times (3 hr health coaching w/unlicensed staff). Navigating their bills is a nightmare. Multiple expensive tests were done on me and never followed up on. I am a health care professional, and I am saddened by what has happened to this practice.

Changed appointments and offices. Left me to drive all over town and then admonished me for being late. Is involved with Health Diagnostics Laboratory who has filed bankruptcy over in inquiry about fraud. They paid the doctors offices to order labs- these were all out of network for my insurance and left me with a $2,000.00 lab bill! It's been a horrifying experience
Snoqualmie, WA |
charged double their written estimate for a cystoscopy, insisted I see her dietician/weight loss clinic though I was less than 10 pounds overweight, put me on testosterone then refused to acknowledge it caused hair loss, scheduled a 6 a.m. procedure then left me in the exam room waiting nearly 4 hours, having nothing to eat or drink since the day before. Did a large panel of labs at annual exam, took 4 months to get an appointment for results. Took 3 months to make a referral.

This practice is a dollar-centered enterprise, not patient-centered. I've been with them for close to 10 years, but leaving to find a better provider because the quality of care has deteriorated greatly. Unnecessary tests, rude staff,(they all appear stressed out), huge staff turnover. Scheduling is a mess.I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Ravasia to discuss treatment options for a serious issue, but she wasn't available to see me on the day of the appointment, that's after waiting for 2 mo.

THIS IS A MONEY-MAKING FACTORY: NOTHING MORE. They did not send me extensive intake paperwork after 3 request calls by me. They called 45 minutes before my appt. and said if I was not there is 15 minutes to complete paperwork, they would charge me $200 no-show fee. As I live 45 minutes away, I told them I could not make it that fast. They sent me a $200 bill. I called them and sent them a letter to request reversal of the bill. They are still saying I owe them $200. They care about $ not us

Dr Ravasia is burned out on gynecology. She has unqualified people doing the majority of her work and she is never available. She runs all kinds of assessment tests but is unable to connect the dots and figure out a diagnosis. Her charges are to the extreme and you do not receive the service she charges for. I have cancer that may have been diagnosed sooner if I had gone to someone more qualified.
Dr. Ravasia insists that you get all theses unecessary tests done when all I wanted was birth control. She won't do anything in one appointment! She insists that you make all these appointments for unnecessary tests. She will charge $400 per appointment! I will never go back to her again! All she cares about is money!
