Her practice focuses on osteopathic evaluation and treatment of patients with acute and chronic conditions. She has been in practice in the greater Denver area since 1994. Dr. Conforti completed her training at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences/College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa. She completed her internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan and participated in two residency programs specializing in Surgery and Anesthesia. Later, Dr. Conforti spent time at both the Children's Hospital in Buffalo, New York, as well as at Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado, where she completed her post-graduate fellowship training in pediatric anesthesia. Dr. Conforti served in the United States Navy as Senior Corpsman on a Surgical Unit and headed the Stat Laboratory at Bethesda Naval Hospital. She belongs to many organizations including the American Osteopathic Association and the American Academy of Osteopathy, and she is Board Certified in Neuromuscular Medicine. She is particularly interested in sports-related injuries and is an active participant in equine events, long distance running and yoga.
