My philosophy in treating and caring for patients with breast problems is to address all aspects of their care including education, physical aspects, and emotional psychological needs. It is my role to inform patients about their treatment options, and to help guide them in the decision making process, in which they participate as an essential part of the overall plan. I support an individual's decision once they are aware of the benefits and risks of that decision. Each recommendation is based on individual needs, and listening to patients helps in determining those needs. Communication in clear language is given rather than speaking only in medical terminology (i.e. medical jargon). Expedited care is given in order to reduce overall anxiety and potentially improve patient outcomes. I treat every patient as I would want to be treated, in a respectful manner with dignity and compassion.
