Dr Hughes is a great gynecologist and was the only one who was able to help my extreme pain. I’ve been seeing her for 17 years now and I would recommend her to others.

Similar experience to Dr. Jacob’s partner. The only doctor I’ve had a negative experience with at that practice. After communicating to her that I had a bad anxiety attack the day before the appt and wondered if that had anything to do with past treated post partum depression, she responded with “can’t do anything about that, next”, as in next question. She seems to either not like her job, or wants to be removed from the practice. I’m kicking myself for not reading reviews before seeing her.

I am a physician writing on behalf of my partner, who experienced awful treatment by Dr. Hughes and her staff. After having extreme difficulty scheduling a visit regarding possible cervical cancer, Dr. Hughes wouldn't even see my partner, and when she insisted on seeing her doctor, Dr. Hughes spent 1-2 minutes in the room and was cold the entire time. My partner spent 20 minutes crying in the car after the visit. As a physician I warn all to steer clear of the non-empathetic Dr. Hughes.

Went to Dr. Hughes a couple of years ago because I had back & abdominal pains. Wanted to know if they were being caused by my fibroids and cysts. She said absolutely not. Two years later, my pain is daily. Had an MRI and my general doctor says, good grief, get to your obgyn- your uterus is huge and is probably what is pressing on things, causing the pain. Dr. Hughes did not want to take the time to figure out what was wrong with me. She impatiently prodded me a few times, but sent me on my way.

Dr. Hughes has been my gynecologist for 25 years or more. The only other gynecologist that I've ever seen was her partner Dr. Cliff Kahle who took care of me during a pregnancy and delivered my baby. Dr. Hughes has always been professional, knowledgeable and caring. Even though I don't like the reason for the visits I always look forward to seeing her. I'm shocked and saddened that anyone would give her a bad review.

I had no real problems with Dr. Hughes. It was with her office staff, they were very unprofessional. On one occasion one staff member had her feet up on the counter. I asked them to change my address, but they failed to do it and did not receive a bill from her office, it had almost gone to collections. In addition, I should have never received this bill, I paid my co-payment in cash, but was not given a receipt. I think the staff may have pocketed the money.
