Patient Comments (2)

Dr. Fishman was rude and condescending. She told me my daughter "was faking it" and did not finish the eye exam.

It is impossible to please every patient/family. I called this family as soon as we realized that they had left upset while dilating and attempted to have them return to finish the exam. Speaking with the parent, I explained I was sad they disagreed with how I explained "faking it" to them (I initially did this with the mother without the child present). Usually my parents are quite relieved to learn that their child has a thorough healthy eye exam and no need for further work up or glasses.
