I have seen Dr. McDonald for many years for annual well woman exams. She is very friendly, gentle and concerned about my health. She always reviews tests I should be having to determine that I am up to date. Dr. McDonald is very easy to talk to and suggests solutions to my concerns.

Awesome !
I had my first visit with Dr. McDonald, 10/25/2022, she was very caring and and sincere. Due to my previous OBGYN (who had retired) I hadn't had a well woman in over 5 years. Feeling uneasy about my first appt, I was hoping she wouldn't be judgmental of the years of not do going. She was great! She took the time to talk to me all my issues, and I never felt rushed. She really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable with all your concerns. She is sincere, honest and a genuine.

Negligent and lazy
Dr. McDonald was nice but extremely uncaring toward my issues. I have serious symptoms of endometriosis and it runs in my entire family, as does ovarian cancer. Knowing untreated endo could lead to ovarian cancer, Dr. McDonald still brushed off my problems and told me that because surgery would be needed for diagnosis, I should just forget about it and take birth control to alleviate the symptoms. All of my symptoms were explained away and not taken seriously, and with a big smile on her face, she rushed me out the door so she could go gossip with her staff and talk about TV shows. The staff was nice, but Dr. McDonald truly did not care about me, and would rather me mask my symptoms until I develop cancer than actually treat me. I felt so let down and out of options after that visit and will never return to that clinic again on the off-chance the other doctors treat me like that. Just because someone has a degree, doesn't make them infallible. She's in it for money, not to help people.

Really traumatizing experience. She is not caring or genuine at all. Very abrupt and made me extremely uncomfortable both visits. I made the follow up visit hoping she was just having a bad day the other time and maybe this time would be better. She made a snark remark about me coming back making me feel silly for worrying about a health issue that hadn’t gone away after 2 months of her prior advice. I left the second appt crying my eyes out. Will not be returning and would advise people to go elsewhere.

Although the scientific literature and official recommendations for papsmears are to start conducting them at 21 years old (regardless of sexual activity), she conducted multiple papsmears and HPV testing on me starting at age 16. This led to unnecessary testing and invasive biopsies for years to come, although it ultimately cleared up on its own. I do not recommend a doctor who does not follow the literature.

Dr. McDonald's warm, caring personality is a breath of fresh air. She is an excellent listener and responds to your specific concerns. She doesn't sugarcoat things, but delivers news with a level of competence and confidence that is incredibly reassuring. When I found out I was miscarrying, Dr. McDonald's kindness and empathy carried me through the appointment. I could tell beyond a doubt that she truly cares about me, not just as a patient but as a person. I absolutely trust her to care for me and prioritize my health when it comes to OB/GYN.

I enjoy & respect all of my doctors, and trust me I have quite a few. However, Dr. McDonald is the only professional I would trust to handle my female health. I have never enjoyed trips to the GYN, yet her bedside manner is impeccable and always puts me at ease. She is empathetic to pain and always listens to me and hears out any concerns I have. Whether it be asking how my cycles are, to always running thorough tests for any concerns she is always on top of it! I could not recommend her more for women of any age. I never have had to wait an excessive period of time for an appointment, however I do think their ultrasound scheduling could be fixed. There are times Dr. McDonald wanted an ultrasound while in office, and several times the tech was not in, booked for the day, or even the machine was down. This is nothing against Dr. McDonald, but as a practice I think they need to make sure patients who are supposed to have immediate ultrasounds are tended to while at their appointment.

If you are just needing a well woman check, Dr. McDonald is great! She gets you in and out and is very gentle during the process. I have been very disappointed since finding out I was pregnant. A 100$ ultra sound that could have been done in office but because she doesn’t do ultrasounds (weird I thought) ended up costing us a 900$ ER bill. I waited for 6 hours just to have an ultrasound done. They didn’t once offer me food or water. They said to follow up with her. I did and Another doctor had to do the US, and he made me feel better by saying he saw a flutter and then told me to see Dr. McDonald (My doctor.) she saw my chart and thought he should see me, I guess? I had to tell the staff they were talking about me and I would like to see my doctor. No, congratulations or anything just everything looks okay, let’s do a Pap smear and see you in 2 weeks and she was out. No discussing plans etc. I like her personality but I did not like that she didn’t want to take the time to follow up.

I was supposed to be in the hospital for a regilar Robotic hysterectomy. Ended up being in there for over a month with all kinds of issues thanks to Dr. McDonalds...she slashed my urinary bladder and subsequently i had an abscess and a viginal fistula. Her bedside manners are the worst of the kind. She gave me all the bad news there was, the first thing in the morning as i opened my eyes. She couldn't wait until later.

Dr. McDonald has been amazing. I have been seeing her since I was 18, and now I am 27. She delivered my sisters baby, and it was a very scarce situation. She put our minds at ease and made sure my niece arrived safely. Her bedside manner & ways of helping those in a tough situation is just wonderful. I am going to her when I have my bundle of joy.

This office makes you wait ridiculously too much, every time. Although I have yet to find any doctor of any specialty be considerate of their patients time, it seems as though they do this deliberately. The longest wait time I can choose is ‘over 45 min’. But I am waiting for over an hour every single time.

I transferred to Dr. McDonald at about 34 weeks pregnant due to moving cross country. I was able to get the required docs in and was accepted as a patient quickly. I had my first appointment with Dr. McDonald and felt that she truly cars about her patients. I met the other docs in the practice and had good experiences with them. She delivered my baby(2nd time mom) and it was a good overall experience. I've seen her yearly and have nothing but good things to say about this practice.

I had an 8:45 appoinment. I was already pulling up to park at 8:15 as I get a call from Dr. McDonald's office that she is not there today. I have the highest respect for my doctor but when the staff is not informing a patient about the doctor's absence a day or even a few hours to make adjustments, that is disrespectful of people's time and extremely unprofessional! I asked the lady how come I did not receive a call informing me of this? She said she just got in and the manager just told her.

I saw Dr. McDonald for the first time yesterday. She was incredible! I also saw her colleague who was also incredible. This has been a rough pregnancy with some pretty bad experiences. Both doctors had super good bedside manners and suggested things no one else has. Unfortunately my pregnancy doesn't have a great outcome but this office is going to work to help me figure out why.
