I’ve seen Dr. Farris for 7 years, I never got help from other psychiatrists before that. They had me on so much medication I couldn’t function. She helped me get off several of them and found ones that really worked without side effects. I drive an hour and a half to see her. Her care is worth it, she changed my life for the better. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I was over-medicated with dangerous drugs and didn't realize it until I stopped taking these meds. She made it very difficult for me to stop her 'services' She was still prescribing these meds even after I told her that I would no longer need Beacon Lights services and would follow up with my PCP. They made my life a living hell. I have been suffering from Beacon Lights wrong doings for over a year now. so sad

Dr. Farris’ heavy-handed approach to psychiatric meds and negligence landed me in the hospital twice. She had me on a high dose of lithium, which she took me off of cold turkey to start on another potent drug. I was so sick in withdrawal from the lithium that I couldn’t even keep water down for days, much less a new medication. I fired her and wouldn’t recommend her to my dog. She’s nice, but she’s a terrible psychiatrist.
