My Doctor
I have been seeing Dr Al-Khateeb for over 10 years and have only experienced quality medical care and concern from her. She spends time during visits to make sure that she and I are on the same page. Some of the long time office people add to the 5 stars!!

Calling my 70+ year old father a liar.
To be completely honest, I totally disagree with the other reviews. Dr. Al-Khateeb literally just called my father, a 70+ year old patient of hers a liar. My father's English is pretty weak, he's old and tend to leave out information out of forgetfulness until you remind him. She took him off a diabetic medication and as a medical school graduate who's worried about his father's health, with the outmost respect and politeness (especially out of respect for my father since he was around) wanted answers on why he isn't on that diabetic med any more. That's when she called him a liar and brought her supervisor and staff members to listen to the conversation. She was so defensive because I wanted answers. The supervisor wasn't disrespectful at all and wanted to understand and clarify things. I should point this out. I'm not saying she's not knowledgeable, but just super rude and disrespectful. She was totally out of line.

Was with Dr. Al-Khateeb for years, no problem at all until I came into the office for a review of my blood work 10/2020. I realized I didn't have my check card on me, actually nothing left everything at home from that morning. Got to my Dr.'s appt., everything was fine, the MA as for payment, I told her I didn't have it on me, left everything at home that morning, she went and asked someone if I could be billed not sure what she asked the office manager. MA came back stated unfortunately I was unable to see the Dr. due to not having the 25.00 co pay. She said sorry they couldn't help me today, with no co-pay. So I got up and headed for the front door and asked the MA if I could talk to Dr. Al-Khateeb, she stated that she would have to talk to her 1st, I said ok. I called and spoke to Jesse, regarding leaving my money at home, Jesse said if she let me pay later she would have to let every other patient do it. Dr. Al-Khateeb didn't call to see what happened. MA lied on me

I have been going to this practice for over 8 years and will continue due to the office manager Jessica, Dr. A & the phlebotomist - Tracy I believe her name is? They have all been there for YEARS. I was miserable sick with flu symptoms which caused some back and forth to finally get my care figured out. Needless to say it’s been a couple days and I’m starting to feel better. Communication is key, If you feel misunderstood sometimes you truly just need to speak with someone else. Thank you RVIM for always returning my calls - even in times of frustration.

My Husband and Ibhave been patients of this Dr for years. She is excellent in every way! Dr Al-Khateeb is someone I personally refer others to on a regular basis because of her impeccable diagnostic skills and preventive nature of addressing issues before they become chronic health concerns. She is more importantly a kind, caring professional who's professional demeanor excels any Dr. I've ever seen! Highly recommend her!

I wish I could give Dr. Al-Khateeb 5 stars because she's a great doctor. She stays on top of the latest medical developments; and her bedside manner is the perfect combination of solicitude and tell-it-like-it-is caring. She loses points for her staff's inefficiency and bad attitudes, and for the extremely long wait times (I've waited over an hour after arriving on time for my appointment).

At first she was wonderful, but seems to be adrift now. TOO MANY PATIENTS. The wait is terrible, and the doctor has no time to spend with you. It's a shame, because I really liked her. I guess they're just trying to make as much money as they can at the expense of customer service

I am highly disappointed by Dr. Al-Khateeb and her staff. My initial visit was ok. I received a prescription from the Doc and went to have it filled, I was told that my insurance does not cover this type of medication and I would have to change to a different one. Ok so I am thinking this is not a problem just call the doctor office and have it changed. Long story short, three weeks later and about 10 phone calls the doctor says my needs are not important and she will get when she get to it. WOW

1) I strongly recommend Dr. Al-Khateeb because she is an excellent doctor. I have had none better in over 70 years. She was my doctor for 6-7 years after I retired and I hate that I had to leave her when I moved to another state. 2) Her staff is THE WORST I've dealt with! They simply do not do their job. Dealing with her staff was a huge frustration! If you can handle that and don't mind continually bugging her staff, then I highly recommend her as a brilliant, caring doctor.

The best doctor I have ever had in my 59 years. She is caring and listens, taking time to understand my questions and address any concerns I may have. The fact that she is clearly up-to-date on changes and best practices in her field instills confidence. I have recommended her to co-workers and they have come back thanking me profusely.
