From my son's appraisal who has just returned from an ileostomy - happy with it, told me that Dr. Adams is the best doctor he has known in his life. This is from someone who has dealt with advancing Crohn's Disease over 20 years, several surgeries and every treatment from steroids to every biologic coming of age. Dr. Adams decisively removed the diseased areas of his body, salvaging from ravaged intestine necessary to make an excellent outcome.

He almost killed me. I went in to have my colon removed. Surgery was suppose to take 4 hours and it took 8+ hours. Since the surgery took so much time I developed water in my chest and it caused me to get rushed into ICU with congestive heart failure. After that Dr. Adams decided that when I was released from the hospital he would take me off of prednisone completely. Well we all know you can't just stop that medicine without tapering. I was not feeling that good and ended back in the ICU again.

There are 2 women that work there & they are not very friendly.I got there when I was told, I was called to the desk thinking it was for my card.Nope, she said I had an outstanding balance. 1. That would have been nice to know when I made the appointment. 2. I was sitting there for 30 mins & u couldn't have told me that? 3.Don't look at me & say, "I wish I would have seen this before." That is your job! Obviously, I didn't know I owed money or I would have paid prior to the appoin. when I had it

Bedside manor is horrible. Follow up is poor. Office manager is his wife. Gives medical advice when she is not trained in the medical field. Dr. Adams was even rude to family doctor when a call was placed for follow up. I'd highly recommend finding another option!

Very honest and down to earth Doc. Another well-known Doc told me I had a fistula and scared me into the need for emergency surgery (riddled w potential complications) and I visited w Dr Adams and he said umm no. You do not have a fistula and you do not need surgery. Go home and relax and come back and see me if your abcess which is healing jist fine continues to bother you. No dishonest garbage. No gouging me for more consultations, no exploiting my horrible fear + doing unnecessary surgery!

Dr. Adams conducts himself very professionally and answered all my questions in detail as needed. Additionally his staff members were a great help and provided me with the surgical information for the hospital and talking with the financial department to get everything worked out for the surgery as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Adams to any of my friends or family in the future. Jason C.
