I found Dr Wimberley to be a kind, caring and compassionate surgeon. I went to see him regarding severe neck pain. After an MRI, and other tests, he presented the option of surgery. I had a three level, C4 -7. Apparently the surgery took twice as long as my cervical discs were extremely compressed. He did an outstanding job. I am three weeks out from surgery and have absolutely zero neck pain. I also have high praise for all of the staff in his office as well as at Texas Orthopedic hospital.

I can't get passed the rude receptionist, she doesn't want to make an appointment for me. How do you keep clientele?

Excellent Doctor! My quality of life was at 0!! Dr. Wimberly tried everything he could without out surgery. I'm only 34 and he did not want to have to do surgery but when it came to the point that I needed surgery He was ready. He is very confident and knowledgeable! That's something I want in a surgeon! I trusted him and knew that he truly cared. His office staff and assistant was amazing.
I would not recommend him. He did a 15 minute consult and did not do all of the physical testing he does during consult and put normal on my paperwork. When I followed up, his assistant did the physical exam that I had never done and he stated to me that the results show I was worse than last visit. How is that when I never did the physical exam during the consult. He didn't listen to a word I said and wasted my time. He uses his charming skills and is a know it all who admits to NO wrong. Smh.

Never in my life have I seen such a nasty ugly rude doctor, he had me in tears it was very evident he didn't want to treat me I have Galveston County Indigent insurance because I'mdisabled, that's the only reason I can think of why he would be so evil to me .Thats the only thing he knows about me it's on my paperwork. My insurance doesn't pay well perhaps. He was emotionally cruel had me in tears insulting me. I'm fiiling a formal complaint at the hospital and med board. There's something wrong

Dr Wimberly is a very caring physician- unfortunately for me a back surgery to reduce the pain in my back has resulted in more pain & complications one year after surgery Based on my experience- if you absolutely require surgery then Dr Wimberlt is one of the best, but my recommendation is to AVOID back surgery ic at all possible

I am a Yoga Instructor/ICU Nurse. In October 2015, after first trying Chiropractic therapy etc. for disc herniation, I went to see Dr. Wimberley. He was very kind, very attentively to my "story", answered all questions patiently, presented all the options, pros & cons clearly. No pushing in any directions. I chose to do Disk resection surgery. 2 weeks later I had my surgery. Woke up shortly after surgery without any pain.Minimal post-op pain, 100%Speedy recovery, great follow-up. A FABULOUS Dr!

He is piss poor returning phone calls. Runs habitually late, as in hours late. Post Op, heaven forbib you need to speak to him. Use someone else.

I found this doctor to be kind and knowledgable. He's the third doctor that I have seen for my herniated disc, and I'd say I got the best treatment here out of all the spine doctors I've been to. He recommended that I see a pain specialist that does steroid injections. Dr Wimberly's nurse practitioner explained the procedure to me and answered all the questions and concerns I had. I didn't catch his name, but he was so helpful and exceptionally kind and caring.

I have him for three month. I have bulging disc on c5 c6 and c7, at frist he is not going to do suary but he want me to do shots. But I told him I have done 4 shots last year. So he said let do CT myelogram that same day, and he told me that c5 c6 and c7 is real bad that I needed suary, just last next week he have back down form doing suary. I do not recommend him he goes back and forth and he's very wishy-washy.
