Dr Wilkinson is very good, but the office staff is vastly unqualified. They do not seem to understand the most simple things about customer relations and good operations. One simple example of the staff's quality of work occurred when they sent a text to my land line cancelling an appointment. After an hour's drive for an appointment they said it was my fault for not calling them to tell them of the error. And then they rescheduled the visit with the PA which would have been ok, except that I specifically asked for the doctor for this visit. For that reason and other similar experiences, I cannot recommend using Wilkinson.

Dr. Wilkinson is a seemingly nice person who appears to be interested in his patients. The problem is that he relies upon third party tests and information without verification (which can result in bad decisions and unnecessary procedures), is virtually impossible to reach if he is not about to perform a procedure on you, seems to lose interest once the procedure has been performed (especially if not successful) and had no real office system in place for several Months to communicate with patients. These problems combined to place me in a position of undergoing an unnecessary procedure and then not being able to reach him. Frankly, he totally missed the real source of my urological problem which I ultimately had corrected surgically at the Mayo Clinic. My opinion is that he is too busy to provide individual attention to patients and likes to do certain procedures which may or not be appropriate for the patient.

The practice moved and I was never notified, that’s just not acceptable treatment by a physician. I have called to speak to a nurse had to leave a message and never go a call back. Very bad communications. The guy who’s office manager is useless.

Dr. Wilkinson is a phenomenal doctor. His administrative manager should be fired. I had an appointment today. I never received a phone reminder. When I got to the office, I was greeted with a sign stating they moved to Naples. This isn’t the first time I had issues with staff. Several months ago I called with a question and nobody ever responded. I guess I am looking for a new urologist.

Dr Wilkenson takes a personal interest in his patients and is NOT a one size fits all person. He cares. He is outstanding with prostate treatment and care. I have no hesitation whatever in recommending Dr W.

Dr. Wilkinson is an exceptional urologist. He diagnosed my prostate cancer in 2009, clearly explained all the options to both my wife and I, and schedules me on a regular basis to ensure I stay cancer free. He is outstanding. His office is bad about answering or returning phone calls. Something that an efficient office manager could resolve easily.

Dr. Wilkerson is an excellent doctor and his medical staff is generally very good but he has major front office problems. they do not confirm appointments You can not reach the practice by phone unless you are willing to be on hold in my case 20 minutes I arrived on time to wait an hour to have blood drawn for a PSA test The phlebotomist was the worst I ever experienced putting several holes in both my arms and then giving up and getting someone else to draw my blood and patch up my wounds

Dr. Wilkinson is an excellent urologist but the communications within his practice are horrible. You can never get a phone call answered, nurses call you back whenever they feel it is opportune, and so follow ups can go back and forth until you give up. I just quit taking medication since I couldn't get clarification after awhile.

My husband has had a procedure for an enlarged prostate by Dr. Wilkinson and has been put under medication for this problem for over 2 years. After high PSA readings, he was given an MRI. He was to have an appointment this week to review the results of the MRI. The test was given 10 days ago. Without reason this appointment was canceled with no explanation by a receptionist with no results of the MRI given. Very disappointed with lack of professionalism.

Dr. Wilkinson is an extraordinarily talented, experienced and very caring physician. The care and due diligence he has provided to my husband has provided him with a quality of life that he has not enjoyed for at least 6 months. We are extremely grateful for his expertise and the customer service we experienced from his talented staff. With appreciation,

after he did an emergency procedure on me , I changed to him as my urologist b/c of his ability to communicate with me. He then referred me to a procedure done in Miami which has resulted in the best I've felt in years. He showed he cared more about making me better than anything else. . I have had years of problems with my prostate and he is as compassionate and thoughtful as any doctor I have had in any field. I feel very confident in his ability as well as his professionalism.

My husband was assigned him from the emergency room. Once he decided I didn't need surgery, it was impossible to see him, even though we requested an appointment. We never got our questions really answered and will change urologists.

I would recommend Dr. Wilkinson to everyone. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, Dr. Wilkinson spent a lot of time with me explaining my Gleason score and my options for treatment. He outlined and drew on paper what my condition was and the options I had to attack my cancer. He patiently answered all of my questions and was as positive as he could be. Once I chose an option, he immediately called a radiation oncologist and made an appointment for me to see him same day.
