This content was provided by Dr. Wallace "I provide medical and surgical care for infants and children with a variety of eye problems including retinopathy of prematurity strabismus (misaligned eyes) amblyopia (lazy eye) and cataracts. I also provide care for adults with misaligned eyes (strabismus) and/or double vision. I lead a national clinical trials group (Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group or PEDIG) that does multi-center studies of pediatric eye diseases. I enjoy participating in cutting-edge clinical studies that will shape medical practice of the future. If there is a study for which you or your child will qualify you can be sure that I will tell you about it and give you the option to participate. My practice philosophy is to treat every patient and every family as I would like my own family to be treated. I believe that the best way for you to be informed is for me to communicate with you in an open straightforward way and to make sure all of your questions are answered. Together we can work toward the best possible outcome for your or your childs eye problem."
