Dr. David Underwood, board certified in ophthalmology, received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in ophthalmology. Dr. Underwood was the first to use the excimer laser for vision correction in West Tennessee in 1998. He has remained a trendsetter in refractive surgery.
