After an encounter with Dr. Ulrich in a Mercy ER, I was left in pain, with no answers to any questions. The staff in his office are confused at best. Calls and messages are not returned. I've called this office no less than 70 times in a 4 day span. It netted me nothing. If you have ANY time at all to do your homework and actually choose your doctor, please run from this one. What has happened to me because of this man is life altering in the worst sort of way.

Dr Ulrich performed a procedure, he was very thorough and explained in detail the procedure. We followed up with him and he was very responsive calling back. We appreciate his responsiveness and last minute scheduling to get us in. I would recommend him to family and friends. Very caring.

I have never had any problem with Dr Ulrichs staff or him. The staff has went above and beyond in making appointments, fixing problems with insurance and answering questions. Dr Ulrich has been very caring, thorough and never rushed thru an appointment. He is my husband, daughter and sisters Dr too. They feel the same way.

Nurses were completely unhelpful on the phone when I was looking for assistance with my diet. I booked then cancelled my appointment with Ulrich given all of these bad reviews and my personal experience with his staff.

He was kind and sympathetic in person and was my doctor for years. However I had severe stomach pain and after many tests I only heard that the results were inconclusive and had to wait a month for a proper explanation. I messaged asking for more of an explanation and what we could do in the meantime before my appointment. He did not respond to my messages or start me on medication for the month I had to wait to get in. His office also frequently makes mistakes and is not good at returning calls

I had a upper endoscopy done 4/5/17. I suffered with chronic gastritis for a month because he didnt call or respond to any of my mymercy messages or phone calls. Finally set a appt 5/23. He told me chronic gastritis was normal and it was caused by constipation. dont go he is very arrogant, And he will not call you back ever, he wants u to come in to get your money. He Never apologized for his actions or lack there of. Horrible work ethic doesnt care about his patients.

He was conceited and pompous and blew off my wife's stomach ailment as IBS/Stress. She was hospitalized for severe abdominal cramping and headache. After five days hospitalized in pain, we left discharged with no dx. One week later, go to another recommended GI specialist and he immediately diagnosed the problem as SIBO as her methane breath test was 3x the upper limit of normal. Successfully treated btw. Would have saved us ten of thousands in hospital bill stay if the proper dx was made.

Arrogant and condescending. Had complications from a procedure performed by him and called his office multiple times and never received a call back from him. Would not recommend
