Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
My vision of being a doctor has been to combine my lifelong passions of medicine and sports. I chose internal medicine as a specialty, as I found it to be a challenge to treat the patient as a whole. Sports medicine provided me with the tools to further my knowledge in anatomy and musculoskeletal medicine, increasing the scope of my practice. As a former athlete, I feel that my combined experience allows me a unique perspective to treat both current and aging athletes. I was born in Edmond, Okla., but largely raised in Tuscaloosa, Ala. I attended Texas Christian University for my undergraduate education, earning a B.A. in Chemistry and captaining the swim team to multiple conference titles and records. I later earned my medical degree at The University of Oklahoma and subsequent internal medicine training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. After my training in internal medicine, I attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, to obtain a fellowship degree in sports medicine. My professional experience includes working at TMI Sports Medicine clinic in Arlington, Texas, from 2013 to 2014. I have also done several publications in both internal and sports medicine. Since 2013, I have enjoyed the opportunity to be the team physician for Dallas Baptist University. I live in Mansfield, where I enjoy watching local sports, the arts and spending time with my bride.
