Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Tenniswood "I strive to treat patients in the way that I would want to be treated. This means using the latest surgical techniques and the greatest personal care. Wherever possible I use minimally invasive techniques which minimize discomfort and maximize recovery. I believe that every person is uniquely created and deserves attention to their particular situation. With that in mind, I work to educate patients on their condition and the options for treating it."

in Pensacola, FL |
My son was admitted into West Florida for abdominal paid. Dr. Tenniswood was called in to evaluate him and made the decision to keep him overnight to keep a close eye on him. The following week, he was admitted back into West Florida and luckily, Dr.Tenniswood was called back to see him. The following day, he had an appendectomy with Dr.Tenniswood. The surgery went great and he made sure my son (8 years old) knew what was going to happen. He is a great surgeon!

Phenomenal physician and surgeon. Absolutely saved my life! Went beyond the call of duty for my first major surgery and did a wonderful job. I couldn't consider another surgery unless Dr Tenniswood was there doing his wonders. I've already recommended him to friends and clients and will continue to do so!
