You took your kid to a rheumatologist but you ended up in the twilight zone? You’ve met Doc Sherry. The little AMPs program CHOP let’s him host is strange. Sherry: kids who report pain have overactive nerves that no electrophysiological test can register (wha wha whaaat?). Maybe kid pain is due to a real reason, or prodrome symptoms of painful adult rheumatic diseases? Sherry: kids’ pain is from stepping on hypothetical thumbtacks. Help yourself: keep kids away from thumbtacks AND Sherry.

Ignored a child’s complaint of pain and refused him X-rays. He had 2 broken arms and Dr. Sherry IGNORED his pain despite multiple symptoms. He should not be practicing medicine.

After 10 medical specialists, Dr. Sherry is the only provider who was able to give my son help. I am so grateful for his "out of the box" thinking. He is a brilliant doctor and a has a great team of clinical staff.

Dr. Sherry is the most amazing Dr I have ever met. He genuinely cares about the children he treats. His staff and the AMPS program at CHOP helped my son to be able to walk again. We will never truly be able to thank them enough for what they did for our son. I pray that every child with AMPs might have the blessed opportunity to be treated by Dr Sherry.

Get worked up prior to the visit. Quick to diagnose without full work up. Patient tried to explain new symptoms at follow up appointment and was told to accept diagnoses. The choice of not getting counseling was the reason for the new symptoms. Found out later child have rheumatic condition that was never addressed. Instead made to feel it was in their head. Common theme for this practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Sherry since I was 12 years old and now I'm 19 going now on 20. I have been pain free and in remission for 6 years almost. I'm forever grateful for Dr. Sherry and his team for treating me like family. He genuinely cares so much and will jump through hoops for his patients. Dr. Sherry will not stop until his patients are satisfied. While I was impatient in Dr. Sherrys program he often visited with my family and I around 9 pm..... works 15+ hours. World renowned.

My daughter had CRPS in her foot and then her hand for more than 6 months when we got into AMPS at CHOP. Her recovery can best be described as miraculous, empowering and amazing to witness. CRPS will tear any family apart. It was incredibly hard to have local experts near our house tell us that our daughter needed nerve blocks and heavy narcotics. We stayed the course and are profoundly grateful we did. I cannot tell the story of our experience at Chop-Amps without tearing up.

Dr Sherry is a butcher. Keep your children away from him. He is evil. My child developed chronic pain after an injury. He put her in physical therapy without treating her pain. She got worse and had to be in wheelchair. When I told him that I was going somewhere else, he called Child Protection services on me. STAY AWAY, I am begging you for your child's sake
